My story
Hi everyone, I'm Danny an 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I'm looking for my forever home. First let me tell you a bit about myself as I'm a pretty special guy. You see I grew up in a puppy mill so life outside of a kennel is quite scary to me. I need some one with lots of patience because I get very nervous in new places and with new people. Because of this I need a fenced in yard and I also require at least one other companion animal in the home to help me learn the ropes(I love other dogs and would probably do fine with cats as well). I would also like a quieter home with no small children. I know I will be nervous in my new home and will likely try to hide and will need to be carried outside until I get comfortable enough to go on my own. But once I get to know you I'm just the sweetest boy ever and love getting pets. I am also kennel trained and have not had any accidents in the house. I know I will be a great doggie for the right person who will give me time to come out of my shell, and I love going for car rides! I am current on all my vetting and I'm being fostered in Rockford Illinois. Please fill out an adoption application at if you think I would make a good fit for your family!
